This disclaimer forms part of the Terms of Use for Bahi-Khata by CrossKloud.
The Software is a tool, not a tax adviser
Bahi-Khata by CrossKloud helps you prepare invoices, keep stock and accounts, and prepare data for GST and income-tax compliance, such as GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B figures, GSTR-2B reconciliation, e-way bill JSON, TDS/TCS summaries and income-tax estimates. It does not give tax, legal or accounting advice, and it does not file any return, pay any tax or generate any e-invoice (IRN) or e-way bill on any government portal for you.
You are responsible for what you issue and file
You alone are responsible for:
- the correctness of everything you enter, including GSTIN, HSN/SAC codes, tax rates, place of supply, reverse-charge, exemptions, discounts and prices;
- choosing the right document type, tax treatment and invoice series for each transaction;
- checking whether input tax credit is eligible and available before you claim it;
- reviewing every figure and file the Software produces before you use, upload or file it;
- filing returns, paying tax and meeting every deadline under the law.
Please have your figures checked by a qualified chartered accountant or tax practitioner before filing.
Rules change
Tax rates, rules, return formats and portal schemas change, sometimes at short notice. The Software may not reflect a change on the day it takes effect. The law and the official portals always prevail over the Software.
No responsibility for tax outcomes
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Garg Trading Co. is not responsible or liable for any tax, interest, late fee, penalty, demand, notice, assessment, loss of input tax credit, or rejection by any portal arising from your use of the Software or from any figure, file or document it produces, whether or not caused by an error in the Software. Our total liability is limited as stated in the Terms of Use.
Estimates are estimates
Income-tax computations, advance-tax figures, TDS/TCS calculations and similar outputs are estimates to help you plan. Verify them against your books, Form 26AS / AIS and the official utilities before acting on them.
