This policy explains what personal information CrossKloud Technologies ("CrossKloud", "we", "us") collects through crosskloud.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
It covers this website only. When a school uses CrossKloud School, the records the school keeps in the software are handled under the written agreement between that school and CrossKloud.

What we collect
When you fill in our contact form, we collect your name and email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, the name of your school or organisation, the service you are interested in, and your message.
When you use the live chat, we collect what you type and any name, email or phone number you give. The chat service also records technical details such as your IP address, approximate location, browser, and the pages you visit on this website.
When you email or call us, we keep what you tell us so we can reply.
When you visit any page, our hosting and network providers process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. They need this to deliver the page and to protect the website from abuse. Cloudflare also counts visits to this website for us, such as how many people viewed a page, without setting cookies.
We do not use advertising trackers on this website. The website is meant for schools and organisations, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Why we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, arrange a demo, send you the information you asked for, and follow up with you about our products and services. We also use technical information to keep the website working and secure.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to talking with you about our work.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run our business. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:
- Zoho, for our email, our customer records and the live chat
- Google, for the spreadsheets we use to keep track of enquiries
- Telegram, to alert our team when a new enquiry arrives
- Cloudflare, which delivers this website, protects it from attacks and counts visits
- The companies that host our website and our enquiry-handling system
The map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps, and some photos on this website are served by Unsplash. When your browser loads them, those companies receive your IP address and browser details, and handle them under their own privacy policies.
We may also share information when the law requires us to.
Where your information is stored
Our website and enquiry-handling servers are hosted outside India, and several of the providers listed above store information in other countries. This means your information may be transferred to, stored in and processed in countries other than India.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry details until you ask us to delete them. You can ask at any time, using the contact details below. Technical logs held by our hosting and network providers are kept for the periods those providers set.
Cookies
This website does not set its own cookies. The live chat uses cookies and similar browser storage to keep your conversation going and to recognise you if you come back. The Google Maps map on our contact page may also set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although the chat may not work without them.
Keeping it secure
Every page on this website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and only people at CrossKloud who need your enquiry details to respond to you can see them. No way of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot promise that your information will never be accessed without permission.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop contacting you. Email [email protected] with your request. We will reply within 30 days.
